Built for Bedrock

Console, mobile and Windows players, one server.

No enforced player cap

Same policy as Java — pick a plan for your community size.

100GiB soft storage cap

Plenty for worlds and add-ons, raised on request.

Automatic Bedrock updates

New releases roll out without a manual reinstall.

Console, phone and Windows

Bedrock is the edition that runs on everything that is not a PC. Add the address once under Servers and your world is waiting on the Switch, the Xbox, the PlayStation and the phone in someone else's pocket.

Add-ons and packs

Behaviour and resource packs

Bedrock customises through add-ons rather than Java mods. Upload behaviour and resource packs to the server and every player gets them on join, with no downloads to chase and no version to match.

Running a Minecraft: Bedrock Edition server

Bedrock Dedicated Server is a different animal from Java. There is no plugin API, so customisation runs through add-ons — behaviour packs and resource packs made of JSON and script rather than Java code. It is lighter on memory as a result, and far stricter about versions, since clients must match the server build to connect at all. Worlds move across from a phone, tablet or PC as a folder you upload, and the allowlist keeps everyone else out.

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition

How much RAM do you need?

1–5 players 2 GB A survival world for friends and family.
5–15 players 4 GB A few add-ons and a world that keeps growing.
15–30 players 6 GB A busy realm-style server with behaviour packs.
30+ players 8 GB+ A large public server, minigames or many ticking areas.

A guide, not a limit — you can change plan later without losing your world.

Getting started

01
Pick a plan and a location

Bedrock is lighter on memory than Java, so size for world activity and add-ons rather than headcount alone. Take the nearest of our 18 locations to most of your players.

02
Set the world up before first boot

Choose level name, seed, game mode and difficulty in server.properties. Or upload an existing world folder over SFTP — a save exported from a phone, tablet or PC works.

03
Add behaviour and resource packs

Put packs in behavior_packs and resource_packs, then reference them in the JSON files inside the world folder. Switch on any experimental toggles a pack depends on.

04
Set the allowlist and operators

Add players to allowlist.json to keep the server private, and give yourself operator in permissions.json. Then share the address and the port, which Bedrock clients need typed in.

Split your server

Turn one server into two, for the same money

Need a database, a test server or a second world? Split RAM off the server you already have. You are re-allocating memory you already pay for, so the total barely moves — no second order, no migration.

Database servers

A real database, not a shared one

Split off a database and you get your own MariaDB, PostgreSQL or MongoDB server — its own RAM, its own storage, its own version. Not a schema on a box shared with a thousand other people.

Your own instance

Dedicated RAM and CPU. A heavy query on someone else's database can't slow yours down.

Pick your engine and version

MariaDB, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, each with every version worth running — choose at creation, keep it until you decide otherwise.

Manage it in the panel

Create databases and users, browse tables and run queries from the browser.

Reachable from your servers

Point your plugins at it over the private network — no public exposure needed.

Splitting is done from your server's page once it is running — nothing to order.

Before you order

Ask on Discord
No — we don't enforce a hard cap. Recommended counts are shown per plan as a guide; actual capacity depends on your world and add-ons.
A 100GiB soft cap applies by default to prevent abuse. Contact support for an increase in line with genuine gameplay needs.
Ports are randomly assigned from our pool by default. A dedicated IP add-on gives you any port you like, including 19132 — Bedrock doesn't support SRV records, so without one you'll enter the port manually.

No. Bedrock Dedicated Server has no plugin API, so Spigot, Paper and Bukkit plugins have nothing to load into. Customisation comes from add-ons instead — behaviour packs and resource packs, built from JSON and script. Alternative server software such as PocketMine-MP has its own plugin ecosystem, but it is not a drop-in replacement.
Usually. Export the world from the device, unzip it, upload the folder to the worlds directory over SFTP, and point level-name at it. Consoles are the awkward case, since some platforms offer no export at all. Take a copy of whatever is already on the server first.
Generally not. Marketplace content is tied to the account that bought it and is not distributed as files you can upload, so it will not carry over to a dedicated server. Free community add-ons are fine — those arrive as .mcpack or .mcaddon files that you install yourself.
Enable the toggles in the world settings before generating, or edit the world JSON to switch them on. Experiments are close to one-way: a world that has had them enabled will not cleanly go back, and a later update to an experiment can change what you built. Back up first.
The server moves to the current build, and clients have to be on a matching version to connect, because Bedrock is strict about this. Console and mobile players update on their own platform schedules, so expect a short window after a release where part of your group cannot get in yet.

DDoS protection, included

Every server sits behind always-on filtering at the network edge. Attack traffic is dropped before it reaches your node, so your players stay connected and you are not billed extra for the privilege.

On by default

Nothing to enable, configure or buy as an add-on. Active from the moment your server is created.

Filtered at the edge

Volumetric traffic is dropped upstream of your node, so your CPU and RAM keep serving players.

Game-aware filtering

Rules are tuned for game protocols, so real players are not caught alongside the attack traffic.

Nothing for you to do

Mitigation starts automatically. If something does get through, support can see it and respond.

Enterprise network

Powered by a 10Gbps network

Every node sits on a 10Gbps uplink with direct routes into the major exchanges, so traffic reaches your players over as few hops as possible. Less distance, fewer transits, lower and steadier ping.
